This was another one of my opportunities to work with the insanely talented Michael Chabon. I can only assume that they hired me to design this cover due to my previous design project with Mr. Chabon (see: The Yiddish Policemen’s Union) And not because of any rumors about my talents in the field of being an “amateur-man”. I mean, seriously, does this manly, age-worn beard of mine look at all amateur to you? Jokes aside, it was my honor to work with Michael again and I’m quite happy with the final cover, a 1950’s-style vintage throw-back. However, if you’re so inclined, feel free to view this slideshow to see some rejected covers that I rather like as well.
